Stay Away From RABIES - Be A Responsible Dog Owner

Philippines are one of the countries who have high cases of rabies incidents. It was reported that 350 to 400 pilipinos died due to rabies, yearly.

WHAT IS RABIES?

Rabies is one of dangerous disease, it is communicable and deadly.

This disease is cause by microbes that came from the saliva of animals with rabies.

It is transferable to people, once he or she is bitten by animal with rabies. If your open wounds and bruises were contact to the saliva of animals with rabies, you automatically have rabies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU ARE BITTEN BY DOG WITH RABIES?

1. Immediately, wash the wound with soap and water.

2. Consult to the nearest health center

3. Observe the dog within 14 days if there is a change on its behavior

REMINDERS:

If ever you were bitten by a roaming dog and it was not been observe, immediately, consult the doctor and make the necessary precautionary measures like having vaccines against rabies.

- Take good care of your dog. Bath regularly; provide a clean food and drinks.
